About me

My name is Trevor Pudney, and I have been in private practice as a hypnotherapist and psychotherapist in the Colchester, Braintree and Halstead area for seven years. My practice is based chiefly at Independent Therapy Solutions in Braintree. I trained with SACH, the School of Analytical and Cognitive Hypnotherapy, gaining a Diploma in analytical hypnotherapy, integrative psychotherapy and counselling in 2000. I then went on to obtain the Advanced Diploma.

I believe in the vital importance of CPD (Continuing Professional Development), and to this end I have, throughout my practice, attended numerous courses and workshops in order both to hone my present skills and to learn new ones and keep abreast of new developments. I also carry out a continuous programme of private study.

I am a member of the General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR), which is the administrating agency for the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council. Members of this body are required to have attained an acceptable standard of qualification and competence, to adhere to a professional Code of Ethics, including total confidentiality, and to carry full Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance. My approach to therapy is an holistic one. I believe that, although both you and your personality are made up of many parts, these must all work together in harmony to achieve happiness and well-being. To this end, I assess each client individually before deciding on a treatment strategy, and continuously monitor in order to assess progress and ensure that we stay on the right path. I am committed to obtaining the result you desire in the shortest possible time.
